Normally, we try to get to a cooler section during our summer time vacation.
However, the pandemic issue sort of threw a wrench in our plans the last couple of summers.
Last summer, there was no travel at all as we stayed very close to our a/c in our home. Both my husband and I were laboring at lake home in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C at that point. The idea of going on our summer time trip just didn’t appeal to either of us given all the restriction. I didn’t entirely want to vacation and only be able to eat take out. This year, we are vaccinated against the virus and guess a bit more free. However, we’re still being careful so our summer time trip was fun but not all that far from home. Still, it was so nice to get out of our a/c and see something new. Since we knew that we were going to be in the same region, a/c where we were staying took on added relevance. But we needn’t have distraught. The mid tier hotel we chose to stay in had the big wall Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units. Those are the ones that are the most reliable and entirely pack some Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling even when it’s broiling in this region. And trust me, it can get down right scorching in the middle of summer time around here. However, we had a good time on our trip. We saw new stuff, had some good laughs and were super cool in our hotel room. I love going to sleep with that big cooling system doing its thing all night. I even pulled up the blanket on one occasion.
