Steve & Josh rented the most isolated home that they could find.
The place was a fifty 5 minute drive from the rental office, which was located in the shed of the rental agent.
The nearest neighborhood was an minute & fifteen minutes away, which was kind of intimidating for Steve, even though he didn’t voice his fears. Steve is a neighborhood boy, born & bred, therefore fending for himself in the woods wasn’t ideal, but Josh found the isolated place & that became their system for the long weekend. The weekend wasn’t too cold, however evenings were chilly so they saw it fit to use the wood burning furnace. There were a couple of space heating systems in the closet, which were particularly comforting to have as a backup for heat. But, since Steve & Josh chose to “rough it” they wanted to beginning a fire. There was no firewood ready for the furnace. But, there was an axe, a hatchet, & a woodpile out back. In line with the pretty red light of the setting sun, Josh stripped off his shirt & chopped firewood for the furnace while Steve watched on, but josh got sizzling & sizzling filling up that furnace with the wood. When Steve saw Josh act so macho, he felt so good. That whole weekend Steve & Josh became fans of using the wood burning furnace, & talked & agreed to get the same for their house. The two of them never even bothered taking the space heating systems out of the closet.
