If you happen to be similar to me then you don’t like the dentist.
Sorry to all the dentists out there that attempt to be fine people but the whole experience is uncomfortable plus super awkward! A lot of our family dislikes going to the dentist more than they dislike going to the doctor.
For me it is a dentist that is the locale of all the horrors. The unusual chair, the metal scraping of the tools on your teeth, the horrendous smells. The whole thing is just not a pleasant experience, however, if I want to take fine care of my teeth, plus make sure that I still have teeth when I’m old, I suppose it is pressing for me to have at least a yearly checkup. So every year I don’t want to, but I force myself to go plus try to just think about how ecstatic I will be when eventually it’s over. I believe our dental office knew that some clients were not ecstatic with their experience there, so they went out of their way to make the office more welcoming. They put some nice pictures on the wall, added some fragrances so there was no longer a brutal smell, plus they even added an attractive new air conditioning device. The staff was friendly plus made me totally feel safe while I was there. The whole time that I was having my teeth cleaned, the only thing that I could focus on was how excellent the A/C was. The air conditioner in a way was something like a Band-Aid plus it just soothed me plus calmed me down. Before I knew it, it was over plus I was all ready to go home. Now I don’t mind going back so much.
