I was so fatigued after working a twelve hour day Last week.
I had 3 weird A/C maintenance tasks on the schedule & all of them were numerous hours each.
I didn’t want anyone to wait until the next day, so I worked twelve hours & finished the last A/C maintenance at half past ten. When I got lake home from the last A/C repair, I was ready to fall down & pass out. I didn’t eat supper, even though our partner made a delicious & nutritious meal with fish, rice, & fresh steamed veggies. I crawled into bed & fell asleep as soon as our head hit the pillow. I didn’t even take a shower, which our partner genuinely hates. I woke up before the sound of our alarm, & I was ready to eat. I went downstairs & made eggs, bacon, french toast, & grits. My partner woke up to the odor of root beer brewing in the pot. The kids were awake about fifteen hours later when I started making the french toast. I had a fantastic breakfast with our family & it was nice to see the kids before they went to college. I have a tied up day busy today as well, even though I hope to finish with the last of the A/C repairs early. My partner & I are supposed to have a date evening & I am looking forward to a nice supper out on the town. All of us may even do some dancing at a new club down the street. Some friends are going to see from college & they are meeting us at the diner. It should be a lot of fun, especially after a great evening of rest.
