The HVAC business center asked me for a time when I wanted my appointment for the repair and I told the lady that 1:00 in the afternoon was perfectly fine.
I had an appointment at the dentist at 10:00 in the morning, but it was a routine check up and I knew that it wasn’t going to take more than an hour.
That gave me plenty of time to spare before I had to be back to the house for the HVAC service appointment. There was a lady in the dentist’s office that was ahead of me and her dental work ended up taking a lot longer than it should have. I was trying to be very patient, because the dentist is one of the best in the city. I didn’t get into the office until almost 10:45 and it was afternoon by the time I was done. I knew that I was going to miss the HVAC repairman when I left the dentist office. There was no way for me to get to the other side of town before one. I tried to call the business center to reschedule for a different day. The man that answered the phone told me that the repairman still wasn’t finished with the other job. He was running late, so it was perfectly fine if I was running late as well. I felt much more at ease and less anxious after I made the phone call. I didn’t have to rush getting home and I was still going to be able to have the repair completed on time.
