Learning on the job, my first fireplace makeover as a heating tech

There’s typically a first time for everything as a heating specialist! I was fortunate enough to get hired by our local heating supplier shortly after graduation plus during the season when most people is trying to get heating repair plus heating repair handled as urgently as possible, but this meant I would get a option to learn on the job faster than expected because of the many calls for an Heating plus A/C professional, and most houses in our city had a gas boiler, so I earned more than enough experience handling similar Heating plus A/C upgrade, plus I almost thought that would be all the heating dealership would be doing through the season. I wanted to handle a weird heating device, an electric heater, a boiler, or the more current options. But days passed, plus my pal and I got the same calls that I started going off on visits alone since I had enough experience to handle boilers which I started to feel we are the simplest heating equipment. My first weird job was with a thermostat that had refused to work, however on concernshooting check, it was only a problem with the batteries, which was straight-forward to change separate from consulting, eventually, my pal and I got the call just before winter time set in from a homeowner who wanted a fireplace makeover. I had to join the more experienced heating specialist for the job. Thankfully, my pal and I did not have other calls scheduled, however we demolished the older unit, added sheetrock, redid the gas fixtures, plus finally oversaw the fireplace builders adding a cement finish. It was exciting because I learned how to scrub out the chimney part plus the rest of the upgrade point, but over the years, I’ve been back to that condo for repair, plus they have kept the unit as fantastic as it was when my pal and I did the makeover.
