Penny and Tom rented such a remote condo in the woods which was an minute’s drive from the rental office located in the garage of the rental agent.
Their nearest neighbor was more than one minutes away, which was kind of intimidating for Penny.
But, she kept her fears to herself, and penny is a neighborhood girl, born and bred, therefore fending for herself in the woods was an bizarre experience. But Tom wanted some arena in the middle of nowhere, so that became their plan for the long weekend. It wasn’t legitimately cold that weekend, but it got freezing at evening so Peris and Tom decided to use the wood burning heating system. The cottage had some oil gas furnaces in the closet, which was legitimately comforting to have as a backup for heat. But, because they were “roughing it” they saw it fit to light a fire. The condo didn’t have firewood ready for the heating system, but there was an axe, a hatchet, and a woodpile outside. In the pretty orange light of the setting sun, Tom stripped off his shirt and chopped firewood for the heating system while our Penny enjoyed the view. Tom got boiling and boiling filling up that heating system with the firewood. The macho got Penny quite excited! When the long weekend came to an end, Penny and Tom were both sizable fans of using the wood burning heating system. They even spoke about getting the same back home. They never even bothered taking the oil gas furnaces out of the closet since the cottage wasn’t cold.
