Most companies position the panels facing toward the best part of the sunny day. The AC unit is on the roof as well plus that makes repairs a lot more difficult. As a serviceman plus owner in the HVAC industry, I can say that rooftop AC units are 1 of the hardest plus most dangerous pieces of equipment. One of the largest problems is the location. It can be difficult to see when the sunshine is shining brightly. Every one of us often have calls for rooftop AC unit repairs while the two of us were in the Summer when the sunshine is at its peak. None of our men have been destructiond because they lose track of their spot on the roof plus become unbalanced. A fall can lead to drastic injury or death plus I am thankful that I have never been hurt while working on a rooftop AC unit.
