My wifey plus I went to the opening of a brand new diner on 3rd Street.
- The diner has been advertising on the stereo plus television for the past 2 months.
There was a lot of hype for the grand opening evening… My wifey made reservations for us when he found out about the diner, however he was an independent supplier on the task. He diagnosed the heating plus air-conditioning systems. He was 1 of the guys that installed all of the heating plus air conditioner air duct, however since he diagnosed the heating plus cooling system, he had the opportunity to speak with the owner plus landlord. It was at that time that he scored reservations for 2 people on opening evening. Neither 1 of us knew what to expect plus every one of us were quite surprised by the crowd of people outside of the diner; Even though it was reservations only, there were still a line of people outside hoping there was a cancellation. My wifey plus I arrived about fifteen hours before the time of our reservation. The server was particularly rude when he brought us to our table. He didn’t read the specials to either 1 of us plus he took forever to get our drinks. I believe there can be a lot of issues on opening evening, but the food wasn’t particularly good either plus that was a large disappointment. My medium steak was well over done plus the potatoes were dry plus tasteless. My fiance got a piece of salmon that wasn’t cooked in the middle. The only thing good about the meal was the wine.
