The worst time for the AC unit to stop working as during the hot and humid summer.
I know this is 100% the truth, because last summer the AC unit stopped working and the middle of a very hot and 14 day.
It was the middle of July and my mom and my sister were staying in my house for a week of vacation. They came to visit from a different place located 800 miles away. They took an airplane to our destination and my wife and I insisted that they stay at our home during the week-long visit. My mom and my sister and my wife baked cookies and made pies. It was absolutely fantastic to have all three people cooking in the kitchen. I felt like a king in my castle. My mom and my wife were both catering to me. I took the whole week off work and we spent a lot of time visiting some of the tourist sites near our home. We went to the zoo on Monday and the theater on Tuesday. We came home from the space and science museum on Thursday afternoon and the house was absolutely humid and hot. I immediately got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, because I knew there was a problem with the AC unit. I had to contact the AC service provider while my family complained about the lack of cold air. It was a total and complete nightmare and easily the worst time for the AC to break down and stop working.
