So I had this done and then I was so happy with how much warmer it was in the house.
Things have been pretty crazy ever since we moved to a new location. The house is great and we’re in the country, but things have been harder than we imagined. First of all, we have a really long driveway and when it snows, we have to do a lot of shovelling and snowblowing. We honestly didn’t expect to have such frosty temperatures and blowing snow in the winter in this area, but we were wrong about that. We have been getting bombarded with snow and cold temperatures non-stop it seems. Then when I finally saw the first heating bill, I was alarmed. It was terribly expensive. I was thinking that I was going to have to have an HVAC technician look over the boiler system. I also realized that I made a sizable mistake that was causing the heating system to work non-stop. It was the fact that I failed to put plastic on the windows and weather sealing on the doors. So I had this done and then I was so happy with how much warmer it was in the house. The heating system hasn’t been working nearly as hard, but I still have an appointment with the HVAC company so that I know what is going on with our heating system. I just want to make sure our boiler system is running as efficiently as possible. I think that it would be terribly irresponsible not to have everything checked by an official HVAC professional. I plan on getting my HVAC system tuned up regularly and I will be keeping up with all the regular HVAC system maintenance.
