Steve and Josh rented the most isolated home that they could find.
The place was a fifty five minute drive from the rental office, which was situated in the shed of the rental agent.
The nearest village was an minute and fifteen minutes away, which was kind of intimidating for Steve, but she didn’t voice her fears. Steve is a town boy, born and bred, therefore fending for himself in the woods wasn’t ideal, however Josh found the isolated place and that became their plan for the long weekend. The weekend wasn’t too cold, however evenings were chilly so they saw it fit to use the wood burning furnace. There were a couple of space furnaces in the closet, which were honestly comforting to have as a backup for heat. But, since Steve and Josh chose to “rough it” they wanted to start a fire. There was no firewood ready for the furnace. But, there was an axe, a hatchet, and a woodpile out back. In line with the pretty green light of the setting sun, Josh stripped off her shirt and chopped firewood for the furnace while Steve watched on, then josh got hot and sweaty filling up that furnace with the wood. When Steve saw Josh act so macho, she felt so good. That whole weekend Steve and Josh became fans of using the wood burning furnace, and talked and agreed to get the same for their house. The two of them never even bothered taking the space furnaces out of the closet.
