Then he would be able to pull them out of the ductwork plan with his vacuum tool
I was quite surprised when I started hearing something running around in the ductwork. It was the fall season and I was already thinking about getting my heating plan ran tests on. I didn’t want to have a bunch of dead critters in my ductwork so I called the HVAC supplier and told them about what was going on. They advised that I reach out to a pest control supplier first before having my ductwork plan cleaned. They said there had to be somewhere where the pests were getting into the ductwork and that would have to be sealed. They also said with an opening to the ductwork, that meant there was leakage that would be making our energy bills go up whenever I used the heating plus A/C system. I thought the energy bills were a little costly towards the end of the summer time season, and so I had a pest control man come out and he learned it was squirrels that were prancing around in the ductwork, he said they were absolutely setting themselves up for winter time with food storage and all. They would be storing nuts in the ductwork if they could. He said the heating and A/C supplier would take all that crap out when they did the ductwork cleaning. He had me turn on the plan fan as he sprayed a sleeping agent into the ductwork that would knock the squirrels out. Then he would be able to pull them out of the ductwork plan with his vacuum tool. He said it was a fairly gentle tool that wouldn’t hurt the squirrels and they would be released back into the wild. I was just cheerful when the squirrels were gone, however now I need the HVAC pros to take care of the rest.
