It’s September finally.
And with the turn of the calendar page, there comes some easing of tension.
Where I live, the toughest part of the year is from June through September. Sometimes the heat and humidity only last through the first couple of weeks in September before we need less HVAC cooling. But there are just as many years when the heat and humidity keeps steady all the way through until October without any thermostat relief. However, I always have a smile on my face when July and August are in the rearview mirror. The biggest reason for this is the fact that I work outside. I own a landscaping design company and so most of my work is outside. Occasionally, on a big commercial project, there might be a work trailer with some air conditioning. I can duck in there from time to time to regroup and get some much needed HVAC cooling. Still though, I’m outside. So when I get home, I need the best when it comes to residential HVAC. And that’s exactly what I get from the HVAC unit in my home. The smart thermostat knows when to start bringing down the temperature with added HVAC cooling before I walk in the door. It’s almost like having my own HVAC cooling butler in a sense. And the smart thermostat saves me a ton of money by keeping the thermostat setting higher during the peak heating hours of the day. At least when I’m not home during the work week. Soon though, I’m going to be experiencing the very best that this region has to offer when it comes to HVAC cooling. Soon, I will be super thankful that I chose a career that keeps me outside.
