We live on a farm with goats and chicken, and it’s the best place to be.
A few years ago, my partner and I were working these soulless jobs in the city.
We were making good money, but we felt life getting drained from us. Since college, we’d always wanted to live somewhere with views and animals. However, this dream seemed a bit far-fetched when we joined the corporate world. It’s only until I had a breakdown that we thought long and hard about our future. I lost a baby, and it was a bit hard to get back on my feet. My partner took time away from work, and we went to relax somewhere with nature and animals. This was an amazing farm where they kept chicken and goats, and they also had glamping pods. Well, come to find out the farm was for sale, and we jumped at the chance to start a new life. The farmhouse was in good shape and only needed an HVAC inspection before our first winter in the area. We managed to locate contacts for a local HVAC business and saw online that they were offering same day service. True to their word, an HVAC expert came by on the same day to do an HVAC inspection. We wanted to be sure the heating system was fit to withstand months of winter and keep us comfortable. The HVAC expert told us all was okay after his inspection, and we only needed to change the air filter which was excellent news. So far, we love being on a farm, and we are still learning the ropes of the glamping business which is our main income source.
