This week the business office has been closed for repairs, so everyone has been working from home.
I actually like working from home because I have a much more comfortable home office.
My office at work is noisy and small. I have a small cubicle that is surrounded by a bunch of other people. At home I am by myself and I don’t have to worry about other people talking in the background when I am trying to work. Another good thing about working at home is being able to enjoy the HVAC system. I recently had a brand new HVAC system installed. It was quite expensive to have the heating and air conditioning system installed, but I got a really good deal from an HVAC repair center near me. Everyday that I work at home, I get to enjoy the quiet and the heating and air conditioning system. I also get to break for lunch whenever I want. There is no one at the house to tell me when it is time to take lunch. I can pick any time during the day that I want. When I was working in the office, everyone had to stop for lunch at 1:00 and we were all supposed to be back at 2:00. I really like being able to do things the way that I want and I am not looking forward to going back to the business office once it is reopened. The repairs are supposed to take two weeks and I hope that they take a month.
