What do you do when you have a undoubtedly smelly home? My house does not smell the best, not even close.
This is because of my fiance’s experimental cooking.
My fiance has never been the best at cooking, but person she does try her best. In an attempt to improve her skills, she has tried cooking all kinds of, well let’s say unique meals. A lot of times these meals have a funky smell, and look might I add, and all of the crap goes up into the air duct and gets stuck there. My fiance also ends up burning some of the meals, so then you have this weird slightly burnt smell floating through the air. It’s undoubtedly taxing to explain, but it smells regardless. I didn’t bring this up for a long time, because I didn’t want to discourage my fiance. I think she was trying so hard, and I didn’t want to make her guess bad. However, the smells were getting worse it seemed. I tried using air fresheners, but that made it worse! The air freshener would only slightly mask the smell, but you could still smell this weird undertone, I hated it. For a hour it would smell like cinnamon peach, and then the next hour rotten peach. I eventually stopped by a heating and A/C system store that was close. I was hoping this cooling store had what the people I was with and I were looking for, an media air cleaner. I have heard good things about media air cleaners, and I was hoping they could work their magic on our house. The air conditioning system store had plenty in stock and I obtained a single and brought it home. I got it all set up, and after a few hours, I could absolutely tell a difference. I guess this was exactly what the people I was with and I needed.
