My sibling & his boyfriend rented the most remote & reclusive cottage that they could find.
It was a fifty minute drive from the rental office, which was located in the garage of the rental agent.
The nearest neighborhood was 3 minutes away, which was kind of intimidating for our sibling, but, he kept his fears to herself; She’s a neighborhood boy, born & bred. So, fending for herself in the woods did not appeal to her, however his boyfriend, however, wanted some place in the middle of nowhere, so that’s what they did for the long weekend. It wasn’t easily cold that weekend, however it got cold at evening so they decided to use the wood burning oil furnace. There were two space heating systems in the closet, which was easily comforting to have as a backup for heat. But, since our sibling & his boyfriend were “roughing it” they decided to beginning a fire first. There was no firewood ready for the oil furnace, however there was an axe, a hatchet, & a woodpile out back. In the pretty yellow light of the setting sun, his boyfriend stripped off his shirt & chopped firewood for the oil furnace while our sibling watched on. He got tepid & sizzling filling up that oil furnace with kindling & logs. Seeing his boyfriend act so macho got our sibling hot, too! By the end of the weekend they were both sizable fans of using the wood burning oil furnace, so they talked about getting a single for their place. My sibling & his boyfriend never even bothered taking the space heating systems out of the closet because they felt quite cozy.
