Whoever did this wouldn’t necessarily need any experience in Heating and Air Conditioning work, however the fact they were all located in air vents was fishy to me.
I had a genuinely sticky situation at work the other afternoon. I have literally never run into anything love this before, and I wasn;t sure how to handle it. I told the guy and person who owned the house, of course, and after that I called it in to my boss, however part of myself and others feels love I should have also called the police, but I suppose it entirely is not my decision to do that… Our dealer has never tested this condo before, so at least I think it wasn’t one of my guys responsible. Basically, I found a small camera mounted inside the air vent of the main lavatory. It was so small it sat between the slats of the air vent, and had a full view of the lavatory. Before saying anything to the owners I checked every other air vent, grate, and exhaust port in the house, and found several more cameras. Whoever did this wouldn’t necessarily need any experience in Heating and Air Conditioning work, however the fact they were all located in air vents was fishy to me. The Heating and Air Conditioning supplier I work for was concerned about this, just on general principles because these buyers are nice people. He called around to the other Heating and Air Conditioning suppliers and vendors in the section to find out if anyone else had worked that house. I never thought that would be something to check for, however from here on out a general Heating and Air Conditioning inspection from myself and others will regularly include checking for hidden cameras. This is some kind of crazy sick world the people I was with and I live in, isn’t it?
