Just when we were starting to actually get into this whole being adults, we ended up back home inside the quality heating and AC of our parent’s house. So much for all the green lights that we had from high school through university and into our mid twenties. We were starting to think that everyone had it wrong because life sure seemed self-explanatory to us. Well, maybe self-explanatory is the wrong term. We found numerous challenges along the way however none that we weren’t up to. Instead of partying in the university, we chose to stay inside the central air conditioner of our rooms and study. Being social was an important part of our lives for sure. But the partying just seemed like wasting energy when we could be working toward something. Perhaps that’s why it felt like we were just getting green lights all the way. We were offered jobs by the one company we actually wanted to work for. We worked in a great building downtown that had excellent zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, & A/C. We managed to have homes with no roommates on our salaries. The homes weren’t the best however they weren’t the worst either. And we tried to hang on to them after we were laid off from our jobs when the pandemic hit. Right away, our parents offered us a place to stay until we could get back on our feet. But we tried for nearly six months to avoid that. Finally, we took them up on their kind offer. While we were regrouping, it was at least actually great to have the best in quality heating and air again.
