We discussed installing a new hot water heater and I thought we should go bigger, and my fiance was adamant about keeping the same size we had now and maybe even going a little smaller. I hated that when I was taking a shower, I would often run out of hot water. I told him that was the reason I wanted a bigger water heater. Later that week, he brought home a bunch of paperwork and gave it to me. He told me to study through the paperwork and tell me what I wanted to do when I was done. Our anniversary was coming quickly and I was getting excited for our party.

My husband and I recently bought a house in an up-and-coming neighborhood. The people I was with and I are hoping the community continues to develop. Because the property values are just beginning to rise, both of us were able to afford a larger property. The house, sods plus gardens all needed quite a bit of work. Since both of us couldn’t manage all updates at once, both of us prioritized jobs. Since the roof was old and possibly resulting in upscale water damage, that job was at the top of the list. A fence around the property was originally quite low on our expectations. Once both of us lived in the beach house for a couple of weeks, my husband plus I agreed that the fence was an essential investment. Creating a layer against intruders plus feeling safe was important. The people I was with and I also wanted to improve the privacy plus aesthetics of the property. The people I was with and I briefly considered attempting to install a fence on our own. The people I was with and I were hoping to save money with DIY plans. However, the land around the beach house is uneven plus at that point, was harshly overgrown with thorny vines plus scrub trees. To make sure the fence was installed officially and would live up to all of our wants, both of us hired a professional fence corporation. It was certainly the right plan. The fence corporation offered some really helpful suggestions on the sitement, height plus materials of the fence. They were inexpensive in determining where to put access points. The whole upgrade process was completed really quickly plus smoothly, plus my husband plus I are totally glad with the results. Having the fence has changed the look, security plus value of our home.

I recently renovated my master bathroom. The space was so brown, dull and dingy. I had to change everything in there to brighten the place up. Rather than a tile surround shower, I replaced it with a glass shower. The beige laminate flooring is now a green penny tile. I painted the walls white, removed a closet and changed the way the door swings. The last thing to open up the space was to expand the bathroom window. I couldn’t understand why the homeowner had such a small window in there. I made the window longer and wider. Now there is so much more light and the view is great. My space does look a lot bigger. I did realize why the tiny window though. Now I can’t stand anywhere in the bathroom without being exposed by the window. Having a glass shower suddenly doesn’t feel so smart. My husband is trying to convince me to get a decorative window film put on. He wants to do a rainwater or fogged glass look. I really don’t want to lose my view. I spent all that money to get a bigger view, I don’t want to lose it completely. I think a window tint might be a better solution. From the outside I could black out the window so you can’t see in. Inside the window I would still have the view though. Now I just need to find a residential window tinting company near me. I need the right kind of tint to match the rest of my exterior.

My husband Max went into a furniture store to option up a wooden rocking chair both of us obtained for his mother for her anniversary.

While Maxwas picking up the rocker, I was checking out other items.

I saw a beautiful leather rocking chair better than I’d ever seen before. There is something about that leather rocking chair that called to myself and others plus told myself and others to take a seat plus try it out. Once I sat in the leather rocker plus put our head back against the headrest, I was totally lost. I felt like I was conveyed back to our Grandparents old home, sitting in our Grandpa’s study, plus rocking myself to sleep in his leather rocker. I was so comfortable plus relaxed that I fell asleep. Max woke myself and others up plus told myself and others that he had the rocker in the truck, plus was all ready to go home. I stood up plus ran our hand lovingly across the leather rocker, before following Max outside. My husband didn’t say anything, although I figured it was because he was watching the new wooden rocking chair that was in the back of the truck. Although it was in the box, he still didn’t want it getting damaged. My mother-in-law enjoyed the new wooden rocking chair, plus he kept saying how comfortable it was. I wasn’t absolutely listening to her at all, because I was thinking about the leather rocking chair I was in. Two weeks later, Max surprised myself and others with a surprise anniversary celebration. I had never had a nice anniversary celebration, let alone a surprise anniversary celebration. The biggest surprise of all was that Max asked myself and others to come into the family room plus help myself and others bring in the party cake. Sitting by the table was our leather rocking chair.

When I was younger, I enjoyed sewing.

Over 20 years of marriage, I had already worn out many sewing machines, plus our husband Bob was getting myself and others a new one for Christmas.

I made suits for Bob, dresses for myself, and I even dabbled with altering wedding finery or prom dresses for family plus friends. The biggest job I took on, was when I wanted our sofa reupholstered. I kept telling Bob that I was sure I could do the reupholstering on our own. Bob looked skeptical, however he told myself and others that if I wanted to try it, go ahead. Bob knew I would be able to reupholster the cushions, however Bob was distraught with the back plus sides plus myself and others being able to pull the material tight enough to make it look proper. I jokingly told Bob that if it was too loose, I would put buttons into the back plus you would never know they were there to tighten the material. Bob laughed, gave myself and others a hug, plus walked away. The problem was that Bob had put doubts into our head about our ability to reupholster the sofa. I obtained enough materials to do the entire sofa, however after doing the cushions I was not sure I wanted to finish the rest of it. I had the upholstery tacks I wanted to use, plus the ropes I wanted for the bottom of the sofa plus around the arms. Bob told myself and others to do what I do best, plus if it didn’t look perfect it was okay. I felt distraught that I was going to ruin the sofa, however when I got done reupholstering it, I was pleased with the task I had done.

I enjoyed using the sofa plus chair, although I hated the large purple flowers that were on the upholstery.

I couldn’t imagine living with those flowers for too long. I contacted an upholstery shop, plus asked how you reupholster a chair, or sofa. The man gave myself and others a brief overview of what they did, plus asked if I wanted him to come over plus evaluate the chair plus sofa? I did a few test runs on the sofa. I literally ran up plus down from one arm to the other arm about 10 times, to make sure the Springtimes plus the stuffing were in nice shape. I had our kid jump up plus down on the chair. He thought both of us were having a bouncy celebration the way that both of us were going at it, however once both of us were done, both of us went into the store plus chose new upholstery material for our chair plus sofa. He tried to steer myself and others to get the one with Power Rangers on it, although I chose a lighter brown material that matched the rest of our room. It took myself and others a couple of afternoons to measure the sofa plus the chair, plus make sure I had the precise measurements for both depth, width, plus height. The arms were going to need a lot of work, because they had heavy rolled arms. I had to confess that once I was through reupholstering the chair plus the sofa, they looked pretty darn good. It might not have been a professional reupholstering task, although I got a lot of compliments on the new chair plus sofa when our best acquaintance showed up.
