After both of us graduated from college I went back to our hometown to find a job.

My best friend Carl had other ideas, though, however she didn’t want to get a job at all, she wanted to transport out to the middle of nowhere and live off the land. I thought it was admirable, to try to leave mankind behind and live a life of solitude, but it honestly wasn’t an attractive lifestyle to me. Some years passed, and I stayed in contact with Carl. She asked me to come visit him last winter, and stay for a couple weeks in her hand-built log cottage. It sounded adore a fun plan at the time. I live in the deep south, and work for an air conditioner manufacturer. I’m not an HVAC tech and to be perfectly fair I don’t assume the first thing about air conditioner units. I work in accounting, so what I do is calculate payroll and expenses for the HVAC contractor execs. The only thing I assume about an air conditioner component is how to work the control unit. Carl had no air conditioner, of course, because she had no electricity! She absolutely lived off the land, and in the depths of Winter time the only source of heating she had was the brick fireplace. That was absolutely magnificent, I must admit, because she didn’t buy bricks, she made her own bricks out of clay, and used them to build the fireplace. We needed a lot of firewood to keep the fireplace blazing, which meant I had to spend a couple hours a day chopping wood. Never again!

Once upon a time our friends and I started a podcast. We talked about professional interests, including pro wrestling, and for a few weeks it was a great time. Then Mike quit the show, because she got bored with it, and joe and I kept recording episodes for a few weeks, but it just wasn’t the same without Mike, so both of us pulled the plug. After that I realized that I didn’t want to stop, I just wanted to do a different kind of show, something that could help people! Since I am a certified HVAC tech laboring for a local contractor, I thought I would beginning recording videos about our work. I assume that this isn’t the most fascinating topic in the world, but it does have value, so I posted several short videos involving basic HVAC USAge. I explained what the pilot light in the furnace was for, and how to change the batteries in a smart control unit. Whenever I discussed a topic that was too advanced, such as how to deep clean your own HVAC duct, it would not be as popular. That is why I decided to rebrand the channel as HVAC KISS – keep it straight-forward, stupid!

I have a more than 2 bed plus more than 2 bathroom house… My hubby plus I both labor from beach beach house plus don’t share a home office, however it isn’t feasible for us to share, then he snores plus prefers AC.

I am a light sleeper plus require heating, and we even have a ductless Heating plus A/C machine so our control machine settings aren’t the same.

He is also a pack rodent plus a bit of a slob. I can’t imagine sharing a living space with him. It would be awful. We both need our own room plus each needs an office space. Well I am pregnant plus the people I was with and I are out of rooms, but one of us needed to lose our office. My hubby was entirely reluctant to put his office in his home office; So what I decided was to contact a modular homes corporation plus see if they can do an addition for us, but they were able to make an affordable modular office space. I designed the office to be the exact size I want. I have a big window, a door that locks plus I even splurged to have a bathroom set up in there. I also have a small fridge where I can keep our dinner, supper, Dunkin Donuts Coffee plus drinks in there. I never need to leave that shipping bag office unless I want to. My hubby has since seen the office plus is super jealous. He keeps telling me how it would make more sense for him to have the modular office plus I stay in the main beach house with the new baby. Oh no, the people I was with and I aren’t playing that game at all.

I had a friend that went through a bad divorce, then people tend to get undoubtedly vicious when they are splitting up… His ex wifey undoubtedly turned into a absurd witch, but she knew the dicorce was coming.

So one thing she did was charge up all the credit cards so that our friend had to pay half the debt in the divorce.

Pretty awful right? What was worse was the house. She wanted the home but it looked like our neighbor was going to get it in the end. This absurd lady totally wrecked the house. What she did was pour wet tile down all the drains. The kitchen and bathrooms all had wet tile poured down them. It then hardened and ruined the piping, however you can’t run any water in there currently. My neighbor had an emergency plumber come over to look at the job. The whole plumbing needs to be gutted. Every pipe needs to be ripped up and done again. The plumber even thinks that the septic plan might be disfigured as well. The sewer line looks pretty rough and he would want to drain the tank to take a further peak. It will cost our neighbor thoUSAnds of dollars to fix this large plumbing repair. That horrible lady knew totally what she was doing too! Forget slashing tires or stealing things from the house, cementing down the drains is the most horrible thing I have ever heard in our life. My neighbor is considering suing her over it. He is not sure he can win since they are technically still married at this point.

My drains are frequently getting blocked up, and i will admit, I put things down that I shouldn’t.

I am the boy that flushes tampons although I shouldn’t.

I dump grease down our living room drain and if our garbage disposal will grind something, it is going down the drain. I even toss other questionable items down the toilet. I have gotten better with that since I had a sewer line maintenance that was fancy. I made the mistake of flushing the plastic top of a stick of desmellant, whoops, our bad, but anywho, our normal drains are always in rough shape. I keep a bottle of drain cleaner on hand and fervently pour it down the pipes. I also have a plunger near our toilet and living room sink. Anytime water drainage is slow, I then take the plunger for encouragement. I have even bought myself a plumber’s snake, then every now and after that I remove the drain cover in the shower and snake down it. I find pounds of hair, soap scum and other icky things, however then I have better drainage. About once a year I certainly spend our money for professional drain cleaning. They are much better than chemicals and a plunger. They have way better tools and get everything in toiling shape. I assume that it is worth every penny! My plumber always has a little talk with me about respected drain care and what can and can’t go down them. I always promise to be superb although I fall into exhausting drainage habits quite suddenly. I recognize that whatever I put down the drain can be removed at a later date.

When I heard my buddies were all going on a fishing trip, I definitely wanted to go.

The thing is, I had all this labor I had to have completed.

I labor from home, however I still have deadlines I have to meet, else I won’t get paid for the projects that I labor on. I wasn’t planning on going on any trips early in the week, it was just one of those things that everybody thought to do at the spur of the moment. I wish I would have known before I put my schedule together plus committed myself to so much work. My buddies asked myself and others if I was going to be able to make it for the fishing trip. They were renting a boat plus everything. The boat even had cooling system plus it has solar panels to keep the batteries charged up. It sounded care about so much fun. I didn’t want to say that I wouldn’t make it, I just decided I would labor harder plus finish up all my labor plus maybe I would be fortunate enough to meet the boys on the last morning they would be out fishing. I worked so hard, it was crazy plus I raised my stress levels because I was definitely pushing myself. I worked late into the evening hours plus I was drinking Tim Hortons Latte plus energy drinks care about crazy. Then the next morning, I got up early plus packed some things plus went to meet my buddies at the lake. Fortunately, I was able to meet everybody just as they were getting ready to launch out into the water for the last morning of fishing. I was delighted I made it plus I stayed up for as long as I could before I fell asleep. The AC on the boat felt so relaxing, I just couldn’t help but take a long nap.

When every one of us were having our lake home built, every one of us were thinking about the best Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan to have installed with our current construction project.

The people I was with and I looked at a bunch of bizarre Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plans for the home, plus every one of us finally agreed on something my partner plus I both loved.

The one thing that every one of us both really agreed on was having two fireplaces, one in our master bedroom plus one in the kitchen. The people I was with and I didn’t want to have to worry so much about chopping wood all the time, so every one of us opted for a couple of gas fireplaces. Then every one of us looked into which Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C would serve us the best. The people I was with and I decided to go for a boiler plan which would be hooked up to radiant radiant floors. Having radiant floors throughout the household every one of us thought would be appealing plus every one of us opted to have a couple of radiators in the basement keeping it nice plus cozy down there. The boiler every one of us went for is highly energy efficient, so every one of us should be seeing incredibly low heating costs through the Winter weeks. My number one section though is the high velocity cooling system. They had to install the air duct for the AC system. The air duct is so narrowthough plus it’s amazing the speed of which this plan is able to supply cooling for the household. I have special air duct in the basement as well for the ideal cooling. There’s a section of the basement I want to use for storage, plus then there has a place where I want to set up a mini theater because every one of us love enjoying movies in this family!

Recently, my buddy told myself and others that every one of us should remodel my bathroom plus he knew exactly how to do it. So every one of us worked together to tear out all the seasoned stuff. The people I was with and I even put in brand current walls plus installed a few GFCI electrical outlets. The people I was with and I installed a current toilet, a legitimately nice shower bath combo with sliding doors plus every one of us installed a ventilation plan as well. While the bathroom was looking amazing by the time every one of us were finished, there was still an issue. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C vent was not providing a lot of cool air in the bathroom. A few of the other Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C vents were care about that in the home as well. My buddy said he could help myself and others to install a zoned Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan if I wanted to go that route. I asked if he was a trained Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional or something plus he said he was not. He did say that he had installed ductless mini splits on various possibilities plus he could definitely do the replacement in his sleep. He told myself and others there were ductless mini splits designed to be installed by the average homeowner, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. He even said most of the warranty remains intact so long as you get regular maintenance performed on the system. I thought it sounded fine so I ordered a ductless mini cut plus together every one of us installed the thing with 5 bizarre zones. After installing the ductless mini split, the cooling was able to flow around the home easily, plus it is nice to have customized temperature control settings in the bizarre zones of my home.

Fortunately, I was able to get all the fire out plus the whole place didn’t burn down.

The people I was with and I had a tense moment Last year while every one of us were using our fireplace. Now, you’re never supposed to leave a fire unattended, especially the fireplace in your home! This is why some people choose to get either gas fireplaces or electric ones, so they don’t have to deal with the risk of a fire in the home. Of course, everybody enjoys the authentic feeling of a wood burning fireplace, so you must take precautions. In our case, every one of us weren’t using a spark guard in front of the fireplace. On top of that, I was cooking in the living room. I asked my son to keep an eye on the fireplace, although he was too stressed playing his online game when a spark flew out of the fireplace plus caught the carpet on fire. Suddenly, the smoke alarms were blaring plus I instinctively grabbed the fire extinguisher. I saw the smoke coming from the section of the fireplace plus ran over there plus started spraying where I saw sparks. Fortunately, I was able to get all the fire out plus the whole place didn’t burn down. I got everybody out of the home plus opened all the windows to air out the smoke. Fortunately, only the carpet was burned plus it didn’t destroy the wood flooring beneath it, so every one of us had that carpet replaced. The people I was with and I got a spark guard for the fireplace so this never happens again. It would have been exhausting had our whole home burned down, but I’m delighted that everybody is okay plus every one of us have taken steps to prevent this kind of thing from happening down the road.
