My folks raised myself and others to be self-sufficient, & while I am not on their level, I believe I do okay for myself.

If I was actually self adequate I would supply our own power & Springtime for a geothermal heat pump, however for our needs a gas powered generator is enough. I understand that teenage boys least favorite thing is to have Mom hanging around.
