Due to my utterly paranoid girlfriend, I have been locked in my home for the past 6+ months.

Although most people are now at least somewhat used to the pandemic and moving on with their lives, my girlfriend can’t get a grip with the fact that we need to move on.

She still insists on me and her staying locked in our home almost 24/7 and that everything we should do should be online to reduce the risk of getting infected. So, I managed to convince her to let me have the weekend to do outdoor activities, without her worrying. I was finally glad to have a bit of my freedom back, however, I wasn’t really sure what to do. Most of the places near here I have been to before, so I spent most of my time browsing video game stores and electronics. Then, I happened to come across a building that was unfamiliar to me. It turns out this was a new place. It was an indoor go karts place. I was incredibly interested and I walked inside. I was met with the sound of speeding go karts, and I went to sign up to join. It was fairly cheap, but it did have a long waiting time. While I was waiting, I sat on a bench next to their HVAC unit. It was unusual to see their heating and cooling system out in public view, usually most A/C systems are in a back room. Regardless, I didn’t mind feeling the cooling breeze from the air conditioning system while I waited for my turn. I think I found my new place where I am going to hangout.

I remember as a child standing in awe at my most favorite place in the world.

When I was growing up, there was a massive children’s playground and activities building centered around kids. Kids could come over and play and give their parents a bit of alone time. The company that owned the building had great reviews, and it was a hotspot for families with young kids. The building had it’s carousel, playground and waterpark as outdoor activities. Indoor activities included TV time, educational programs, ball pit and much more. The best part was that it was incredibly cheap, because the owners loved children. Unfortunately, a massive hurricane came and destroyed over half of the equipment and playground, including the building itself. I was hopeful they would open back up, but they closed their doors forever and the building was abandoned. I remember breaking into the building as a teenager for a bit of urban exploring. Now, here I am as an adult standing here wondering if it was worth it. I wanted to remodel the building just how it was when I was child. I decided to go for it, contacted the owner and bought it. To my surprise it still had massive flood damage in the lower part of the building with waist deep water. So I started contacting places for potential repairs. One of the places I came across was HVAC business. It was way too early for me to contact the HVAC company, but I decided to keep the HVAC corporation in mind. Having a HVAC professional install a heating and cooling system was definitely something to look towards later down the road.

I knew I had spotted my dream home when I laid eyes upon the 2 story, 4 bedroom home with a pool.

Massive curved windows, wooden flooring, arches and crown molding made me fall in love with this home even more! Even better, it came with it’s own pool and hot tub in the back. The price, though, was my concern. Even though it was way out of my budget, I knew I needed this house. Around the same time I spotted this house, I accepted a higher paying job and started really working to save enough money for this home. However, I was growing concerned as time passed and it was taking me awhile to save enough money for this home, I was afraid that I was going to look at the home one day and it would be marked sold to someone else. Thankfully, the perfect home did have a few flaws. Mainly, it has a really bad unfinished basement, and no HVAC system. My husband and I pooled our money together, and using the lack of HVAC unit and unfinished basement as a leverage, I made an offer. I guess they were ready to get rid of the home, because they readily accepted my offer. It was official! My dream home was mine. Now to get to working on the unfinished basement and installing a HVAC component. I called a HVAC company and discussed potential heating and cooling methods for my home. I made sure to mention that while I was upgrading the basement, I would want some form of heating and A/C down there as well. I was able to get someone who had handy knowledge in not only heating and cooling, but home repairs as well. Now, we are quickly on the way to making our home complete.

I was browsing the internet yesterday, when I came across an ad where someone was giving away a whole bunch of free items.

Most of the items looked in good condition.

Not wanting to pass up this valuable opportunity, I instantly got in my car and drove the few miles to their place to pick up all of the free items. In total, they gave away 12 different items. A few aquariums, an old TV, books, movies, toys and an air purifier. Some of the items I couldn’t use, but could sell online. I planned on using some of the aquariums to get a few exotic betta fish. The old TV was perfect because I needed one for my living room, and I don’t really care for one of the new flat screen modern ones anyway. I also planned on watching some of the new movies I got, and reading some of the books I got as well. Last, was the air cleaner. I was honestly surprised they were giving this whole home media air cleaner away for free, it was still new in box and sealed. Getting a whole home media air purifier was probably the best of all of the free items, not only because of its new condition, but I was planning on upgrading my HVAC to begin with, and this HVAC cleaner will be a great addition to improving my indoor air quality. Sometime next week, I plan on getting my box of HEPA filters, and with HEPA filters working in my A/C unit, then I can give this air purifier a try.

I was talking to my friend the other day and he was telling me about this situation he was facing.

He talked about possibly running the family HVAC company with his half brother.

His half brother was disappointed though when he was not in the will to inherit the HVAC company. The reason he thought was because his half brother might want to try to sell the HVAC company and not actually run the business. My friend feels he did the right thing taking over the HVAC company as it was written in his father’s will. I honestly felt that I couldn’t blame him for choosing to run the HVAC company on his own, but I could see how it was a pretty awkward situation. I have been trying to tell him that he shouldn’t feel bad at all because the HVAC business was rightfully his. I guess that might be something his half brother never agrees with. Anyway, my buddy has been doing well with taking over the business. He honestly didn’t expect his father to pass away so suddenly. He was entirely devastated and he made a final promise to his father that he would make him proud by running the HVAC company the way he would have wanted. He has a lot of great ideas and he even has been putting together a program that allows people with financial hardships to make smaller payments and pay a little less for the HVAC services performed. I think it’s a really smart program and that’s something I’m sure would make his father proud.

I will admit that I didn’t know what I was getting my family into when I rented a cabin for us to relax in for a week.

I thought the place came with a heating system, but by that they meant the fireplace.

They also had a wood burning stove so that you could also provide additional heating and do your cooking. The problem was, we didn’t have much wood that was already cut, and we were expecting to be able to adjust a thermostat. There was no regular HVAC system at all, and that bothered me. The air quality was not especially nice, and the place had a rather odd smell. We got used to it after awhile and I got a fire going in the fireplace to warm everything up. We had to use candles for our lighting since there was no electricity. I can’t tell you how disappointed everybody was about that. They couldn’t use their devices but we could watch some movies! I actually had a small TV I brought and I had a portable power supply that is rechargeable. It also can jump start your car which is nice. We were able to watch some good movies in front of the fireplace, and that was our primary source of entertainment apart from playing cards and other family games. I was happy when everybody said they actually had a good time, even though it was tough making it through the week. Everybody also admitted that they couldn’t wait to get back home to regular civilization where they could use their devices again.

We live in a neighborhood where our son has friends he hangs out with.

Sometimes we let him spend the night at a friend’s house and sometimes he will have friends spend the night at our place.

Well recently, we called to check in and we were alarmed when they said the kids were missing. We all went on a brief search party and then I looked in the backyard towards the treehouse. I noticed there was a light on in the treehouse and I decided to check it out. That’s where I had found all the kids relaxing on the floor of the treehouse, most of them asleep. We told the kids they were in trouble for sneaking out of the house and into the treehouse. They thought that if they asked to go into the treehouse, we all would say no. They were right about that, but they still should have told us what was going on. We all were severely worried and we were close to calling the cops to go looking for our missing children. I’m glad that I thought to look into the treehouse. We actually had a ductless mini split installed in there and it’s insulated pretty well. It was nice and warm inside of the treehouse as they were using the ductless mini split with the perfect temperature control settings. If I didn’t have to worry about strangers trespassing on our property and kidnapping the children, I wouldn’t mind letting them sleep in the treehouse as it is comfortable enough. You just never know what kind of crazy people will come around these days.

How does anybody expect to get away with robbing a bank? Well, I was afraid for my life but this nice guy helped me to keep calm when I was freaking out.

I had a pretty horrible experience this past weekend. I actually was making plans to go out with my girlfriends and that’s why I went to the bank so that I could have some cash on hand. There’s no telling what we all might get into when we go downtown. So I was at the bank and that’s when I was annoyed that the temperature control settings were off. I asked the people there if they could crank up the air conditioning, but they said it was broken. They apparently called up an HVAC technician and he was expected within the hour. I realized that wasn’t going to help me any since I wasn’t planning on being there for long, I just needed to make a withdrawal. Next thing I knew there were guys screaming for everybody to put up their hands. We all had to surrender our things and get down on the floor. They were robbing the bank. I didn’t even know that people still did that sort of thing with advanced bank security these days. How does anybody expect to get away with robbing a bank? Well, I was afraid for my life but this nice guy helped me to keep calm when I was freaking out. I told him that if we made it out alive, we should go on a dinner date. The HVAC professional showed up, but he was not permitted to enter. It was a long day, but the bank robbers were eventually taken down by the police and nobody was injured other than them.

On the day that our wife and I got married, every one of us ran into a single concern after another.

If I was the genre of person to believe in superstition, I might not have said yeah on that day.

Every one of us stayed in a hotel the night before the wedding and every one of us were in separate rooms. I didn’t sleep at all that night, because the a/c was making peculiar noises. I could not turn the a/c off, because it was too moderate and humid inside of the room. I was already miserable and tired when I got up in the morning and then our automobile would not start. I had to leave the automobile in the parking lot and take an Uber to the church. The wedding standard was not the pastor that every one of us planned to use, because the other guy got sick with the flu several mornings before our wedding day. I felt relieved after the several of us said I do. Every one of us drove together to the reception hall and I was starving by the time every one of us arrived. I don’t suppose I ate much of our breakfast that morning. I was thinking about lunch while I was in the toast and the first dance. The cake was set up in the corner of the room, away from the rest of the food. I didn’t realize the cake was resting under a tepid air vent. The caterer should have realized the cake was resting under the tepid air vent. Instead, the concern went unnoticed and the cake began to melt from the heat, however by the time every one of us break the cake, half the flowers were dropping and sitting on the bottom of the plate. The furnace vent was the last of several disasters on that day.

The worst time for the A/C unit to stop working as while I was in the tepid and humid summer.

I feel this is 100% the truth, because last summer time the A/C unit stopped working and the middle of a very tepid and 14 day.

It was the middle of July and our mom and our sibling were staying in our house for a week of holiday. They came to visit from a unusual locale situated 760 miles away. They took an airplane to our endpoint and our wife and I insisted that they stay at our home while I was in the week-long visit. My mom and our sibling and our wife baked cookies and made pies. It was easily great to have all several people cooking in the kitchen. I felt love a king in our castle. My mom and our wife were both catering to me. I took the whole week off work and every one of us spent a lot of time visiting some of the tourist sites near our home. Every one of us went to the zoo on Thursday and the theater on Thursday. Every one of us came home from the space and science museum on Tuesday afternoon and the house was easily humid and hot. I instantaneously got a sinking feeling in the pit of our stomach, because I knew there was a concern with the A/C unit. I had to contact the A/C repair provider while our family complained about the lack of cold air. It was a total and complete nightmare and particularly the worst time for the A/C to break down and stop working.
