Don’t let Heating, Ventilation, and A/C condensate ruin your day

I tend to overthink things when it comes to our house. I’m constantly trying to stay 1 step ahead when it comes to repairs or mitigating bad possibilities. And 1 of those possibilities is water disfigure. Throw in a water leak combined with exposure to electricity and I’ll bet up all night. There are so many unusual sources of water in a house. Even the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C has a level of condensate that can become a real problem. This is another reason I make sure that I have an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional checking and servicing the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine twice a year. In our region, both of us lean on the heat pump to cool our homes. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling is the largest heating and cooling complication both of us have. The winters are mild and that just doesn’t require a whole lot of heating. But both of us more than make up for that with our summer. There is just no way to get through the summer time without a large dose of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling. And a lot of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling produces plenty of condensate. Of course, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine is designed to deal with the condensate. There is a drain line to carry the condensate safely away from the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine and the house. However, that drain line can get blocked. When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C condensate drain line is blocked, it forces that water back into the house. At that point it ends up in a drain pan and hopefully evaporates. However, if it doesn’t then water damage can ensue. This is why it’s essential to have an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional doing semi annual Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintenance on your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment.
