My apartment is built up on a hill overlooking a wooded area & large lake, however the view is particularly spectacular, but i particularly care about sitting on our back deck & enjoying for rabbits, deer, squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, foxes & odd species of pigeons.
There are often boaters, jet skiers & fishermen out on the lake, while the elevation of the apartment offers some beautiful benefits, it also creates some complications, however mowing a hilly lawn is not a lot of fun, plowing the driveway in the Winter time is difficult & the people I was with and I need four-wheel-drive vehicles to avoid getting stuck, but even walking down the driveway to get the mail gets tiring.
When the people I was with and I first moved in, I was determined to have a fence installed around the property. I wanted the added security & knew that a fence would contribute to curb appeal & the value of the home. I watched some youtube videos online, study a few home improvement blogs & thought that I could manage the upgrade of the fence on my own. I hoped to save money by handling the project without hiring professionals. I bought all of the materials & then got into trouble. I lacked the special tools & equipment to combat the uneven & hard ground. I couldn’t get the posts far enough into the ground or manage to install them straight. I struggled for multiple days before finally hiring a fencing company. They were able to use my materials & give the labor. With a crew of licensed companys & specialized equipment, they had the fence installed in a single weekend.
