Frozen pipes can also arise from refrigerant issues. While frozen pipes within an air conditioning system can be concerning, there are steps to take when you encounter such a problem. First of all, If an air conditioner pipe is frozen there is no point in continuing to run the air conditioning system. Turn it off. This will allow the pipe to defrost.
