I entirely can’t assume how fast the gas furnace delivery was to our house.
Whenever I ordered our current electric gas furnace unit, I never dreamed that it would show up on our doorstep so hastily.
The website that I ordered it from said that it would be at least a month before delivery would take locale. I was basically just minding our own supplier and doing some chores around the apartment when the delivery truck showed up at our apartment with an absolutely gigantic cardboard box. I had no idea what was in it and so I asked the delivery driver what the manifest said. He told myself and others that the manifest just said that the box contained some kind of Heating and Air Conditioning component but he did not have a particular item or anything listed. Since it was a great three weeks sooner than they had said that I was going to acquire our current electric gas furnace unit, I couldn’t even assume that it was there. At that point, I did not even have anywhere to put it. I had to back our van out of the garage just so the delivery men could roll it into the garage on their dolly. It took various of them to transport it because it was so big and heavy. I just stood there looking at the box and wondering how in the world the Heating and Air Conditioning company was ever going to be able to get that thing down our basement stairs to get it installed in the gas furnace room, of course, I had to make an appointment with them instantly because I just wasn’t prepared when the delivery came.
