My wife is from a very warm climate. I mean, she is from an actual tropical island. She is one of those island beauties that you always read about with olive skin and beautiful long, dark hair. She is literally the most beautiful woman on the planet, in my opinion. Whenever we first started talking to each other, I never dreamed that she would ever settle for regular old me. I am just a normal guy who lives in a regular house. I have a regular job and a regular car. In other words, I am just a regular old guy and somehow I got lucky enough to get this woman to fall in love with me! Whenever we decided that we were going to get married, she decided that she wanted to come and move in with me in my house instead of the other way around. That was fine with me, but I think that she got a little more than she bargained for because of the climate where I live. She was used to living in a place that is warm and sunny all the time. She never even had a furnace in her home whenever she was growing up because the weather simply never got cold enough for one down there where she lived. Whenever they got a little chilly once in a while, they would just build a fire in the wood burning fireplace in their common room. Now that she is living here with me, she’s cold all the time. I feel sorry for her because she is always cold! We have a great high efficiency heating system, though. I told her that she can turn the thermostat up as high as she wants as long as she stays here with me!
