I don't know where I'd be without residential HVAC

I’m so thankful that I prefer where I live.

That hasn’t consistently been the case even though I’m now living not at all far from where I grew up; however, when I was a kid, I thought this region was too hot, too quiet and boring… However, I’m sure I wasn’t the only teenager to suppose that way.

I ended up leaving all that air conditioning to transport to the north for school; however, my school experience was awesome despite the fact that I entirely hated living in the dorm room while I was in the winter. The real dorm I lived in had a massive boiler that produced plenty of radiant heating. But that radiant heating was either off or full sauna. I ended up taking a task right out of school that kept me in the north for a few more years; however, I just never could get accustomed to the winter. This led me to take a lateral transport with the business just so I could get back to the south! And man, am I ever blissful that I actually did that. I guess having lived away from this region for a while gave me a whole other perspective when it came to appreciating this area… Sure, the real summer time is hot, humid and comes with a whole lot of air conditioning. But I even have a newfound gratitude for that as well; and now that I am an adult, I realize that there were people for generations who did not have access to residential heating and air conditioning. And just thinking about that entirely does help me to stay grateful and maintain that perspective even when I am covered in sweat just walking to the car in the summer.
