My brother was thinking about buying a household up in the country & he wanted to know if it was worth the cash or not, he already had a townhousehold in the city.
She asked if I would take a look at the location, then i work as a general corporation & a certified Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair worker! The first thing that I looked at when I got to the condo was the heating & cooling system.
I found some concerns with the HVAC duct that were going to be pricey to fix. There were some locations in the attic where the HVAC duct did not seem to be attached to anything at all. I was distraught that the HVAC duct was going to be luxurious, but my brother was more concerned with the foundation & the roof. I didn’t find any concerns at all with the roof & I walked all over it. I also used a special component that allows me to see concerns that might be happening under the roof. I also looked at the foundation & did not find any concerns… Other than the concerns with the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, I actually didn’t guess that the household was in exhausting shape. I told my brother that it was a great buy & he should try to get it for a great price. The owner of the household was trying to get $260,000 for it, even though I felt like my brother could actually talk the guy down to $245,000 after he told him about all of the small concerns that I found.
