Improving indoor air quality with air filter

I’m really thankful I ended up taking that flight and sitting next to the person who taught me all about indoor air quality.

Normally, I hate flying and I hate flying for business the most.

There is nothing appealing about being stuffed inside a metal tube that doesn’t have the sort of air conditioning I need. I don’t want to get into the whole being off the planet part of my airplane problems. But flying again after not having to get on an airplane for so long due to the pandemic was not something I was looking forward to. So I was a bit glum when I got on the flight to see that it was packed. And of course, there wasn’t enough air conditioning and wearing a mask made me even more warm. However, sometimes things happen for a reason. I was meant to be on that flight in order to learn about how to improve my indoor air quality at home. The person next to me must have sensed my discomfort about being on a plane and wearing a mask. She assured me that this was a good precaution. And she had checked to be sure that these planes had HEPA filters. I was not aware of the HEPA filter although I’d heard the name. She then explained that a HEPA filter is capable of removing more than 99 percent of all airborne contaminants. The HEPA filter was even helpful in mitigating viruses as well. I was so impressed that I decided to replace the air filter in my home when I got back from my trip. After installing a HEPA filter, the indoor air of my home was remarkably improved.
