Moved from the north

HVAC used to be a big part of my life.

This was a time when the Winter came in by November and was here to stay April/May.

That was quite a thing to get accustomed to. Luckily, that wasn’t a space of my life that lasted all that long. I went way up north for about 5 years in an effort to take an important step in my career process. But as soon as I could, I rushed back to the warmer weather conditions of the south. Plus, I’m from here so that had a lot of influence on my decision. But aside from the winter, I loved living up north. But dealing with the oil furnace plus making sure that I had enough wood stocked up for the wood stove was a lot to deal with. Now, I am back in the land of the heat pump and I am happy and thankful for it. In fact, it’s just about that time of year where every one of us transitions the thermostat from heating to cooling. I know that might seem a bit premature for those that are still shoveling snow in colder climate areas. But in this area, the cooling system starts kicking on a bit during the heat of the day come about mid-May. But before I do that switch over, I have one other task to complete. I have to get the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals to come out to do the annual preventive repair plus tune-up for the HVAC system. It won’t be too much longer until the heat will be once again upon us. I always adore knowing that the HVAC system is prepared to meet that challenge.
