My sister has been living at my house for the past 3 months; When she moved in, I knew that she was truly going to stay for a while; Her life has been a mess for the last couple of years, and she has been in and out of rehab and in a bunch of unusual relationships.
When my sister said that she was going to come and stay with me, I told her that there would be no drinking and drugs in the house.
She agreed to the rules and told me that she was going to meetings every week. She showed me her 60 morning trip from NA! It truly hasn’t been that bad having my sister at the house and it is unquestionably clear that my sister is trying to stay sober. She attends meetings and she got a job at a grocery store a couple of blocks away from my site. She walks to work every afternoon and comes house every evening, but things are pretty nice except for the fact that my sister enjoys to adjust the thermostat temperature. I keep the thermostat temperature at 70° for a couple of unusual reasons. It’s energy efficient for the device and it keeps the bills low. 70° is the most comfortable setting for me; My sister enjoys the temperature in the house to be 70 degrees and she won’t stop decreasing the thermostat. I threatened to get a smart thermostat with a lock code and she told me that she would complain to Dad and Dad if I did something stupid like that.
