It’s rarely cold down south, but every once in a while there is a storm with cold and uneven temperatures, last year all of us had a storm during the wintertime plus the outdoor uneven temperatures were cold enough to snow, but the unusually cold uneven temperatures were tough on the heat pump. Just a handful of times, my partner plus I were upset that the heat pump would stop working absolutely, then after the seasonal storm was over, my partner plus I decided it was a fantastic plan to call the heating company to check on the heat pump. Everything worked well during the storm, but all of us still had some concerns! My partner called the heating plus A/C company plus she made an appointment with a repair specialist. The guy came to the beach house to perform a tune-up on the heat pump. At this time, my partner plus I found out that our heat pump was not cycling to the defrost mode correctly. The defrost mode keeps the heat pump from completely frigid. My partner plus I decided to repair the concern with the heat pump just in case all of us had any other wintertime storms with unusually cold and uneven temperatures. The repair was significant, but the heating plus A/C specialist told our partner plus I that all of us should not have any other concerns with the heat pump for a long time. Everything inside of the unit looked fantastic plus things were absolutely working just as they should… He also noted that the evaporator coils looked brand new even though the unit is almost seven years old! I thought that was fantastic news considering the fact that all of us use the AC a lot more than the heat pump.
