Smoking cigarettes inside is a huge no

I once dated a guy that smoked a good amount, and it didn’t last for absolutely long.

While I liked him a lot, I couldn’t get over his terrible habit.

When my friend and I dated, he used to spend the night at my dwelling. He was polite enough to ask me if he could smoke inside my beach dwelling which I politely told him no. I actually did have a screened in patio area and he was free to smoke there whenever he wanted. I realize that cigarette smoke gets into clothing and fabric and that aroma is not very easy to remove. Honestly, the last thing that I wanted was for my beach dwelling to have a strong smell of cigarettes all the time. He knew I didn’t prefer the aroma, so he never invited me to his site, and to be honest, I didn’t mind because I assumed that I would have been coughing from the aroma of cigarette smoke! Studies have shown that cigarette smoke increases air pollutants inside the dwelling! The aroma is absorbed into carpets, curtains, furniture, and it also gets into the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vents and circulates throughout the dwelling. The air filter inside the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance is not equipped to filter out the pollutants produced by cigarette smoke. So, the entire beach dwelling or apartment will have this pollutant lingering throughout the space. I didn’t want to take the risk of dealing with terrible air quality in my dwelling that could potentially seep into my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance, so I could not allow that guy to smoke inside. Well, my friend and I dated for less than a year, but the relationship ended because I didn’t want to spend the night at his dwelling. I genuinely didn’t want to have to be uncomfortable because of the air smelling strongly of cigarette smoke.
