Nobody in our HVAC supplier was very pleased when every one of us found out that the boss was going to hire his son.
- I personally was aggravated, because I wanted my sibling to work with me plus the boss stated it was impossible for the two of us to work at the same branch! The boss plus his child have a different last name, so he thought every one of us wouldn’t notice they were related.
It is quite apparent since both of them look pretty much the same. It only took a day or so before almost everyone in the HVAC supplier knew that the young guy was the boss’s son. I got stuck training the man on HVAC equipment repairs. He works with me essentially everyday. I am stuck with him for a few weeks plus it is my responsibility to teach the guy everything. I sincerely do not mind training new HVAC companies, but this young guy thinks he knows everything. He doesn’t listen to me plus he constantly reminds me that his dad is the boss! Recently, I wanted him to crawl under a property to look at the ducting. It was particularly muddy plus bugs were crawling everywhere. He easily refused to get under the home plus do his job, and after I got under the property plus took some pictures of the ducting. I sent him home after that, however my boss called plus I gave him an update about the condition of the HVAC duct plus the new employee. I thought he would be upset, however he didn’t say a word.
