The two of us installed ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning into the lodge.

My hubby and I had a hunting lodge built in the middle of the woods, but the lodge was nothing more than an A-frame building, with a single large room and a small entryway on the lower floor, and a study room on the upper level! I asked where the bathroom was going to be and he looked at me… He said a hunting lodge was for roughing it.

The two of us were going to have an outhouse.

I would not stay in a lodge that didn’t have an indoor bathroom. He added a small room off the entryway, where both of us would have an indoor outhouse, which wasn’t much better. The only good part was that I wouldn’t go outside in the middle of the evening. The next subject I brought up was heating plus A/C. He had already been planning on putting a wood-burning stove in the lodge, but I wanted air conditioning. The two of us changed the plans again when he agreed to ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning. He now realized both of us also needed electricity if both of us wanted lights and a ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning system. His rustic lodge was only going to be rustic in appearance. I had an electric stove with a microwave and numerous other entryway accessories. The pièce de résistance was the ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning plan so both of us could come to the lodge ‌ any time of the year. He grumbled the entire time the electrician was at the house. He grumbled even more when the Heating plus Air Conditioning professional left and handed us a hefty bill. He didn’t grumble so much when it snowed the first time both of us were at the lodge, and both of us had Heating plus Air Conditioning to keep us warm.
