I’m trying to get my work done early today so that I can go visit my stepmom in my dad’s big old house that he left when he left us two years ago. He’s been gone for 26 months now and it still just feels like a dream that he went and died on us. I got $100K from his will and lost it all within six months trying to outsmart the falling crypto market. Oh well, I could hold a grudge about this for a long time and just hurt myself more or just let it go. Heater maintenance is what I do now on the side to earn some money, but I really want to make money playing music in clubs around the country where I live overseas. I am a drummer and singer and I am really inspired to play music for the rest of my days. I was running my own company for ten years but just got bored with it, so I began a journey of self discovery, which has led me all around the world and given me a whole bunch of new experiences that I wouldn’t have gotten if I kept running my HVAC business. Lots of my friends are stuck in the same old careers and they seem like their spirits have been taken away from them. Heating and cooling equipment is okay to work on but music is what lights a fire inside of me.

My husband is really buckling down on the budget around here at our house.

• He is super paranoid because of everything that is going on with the economy these days.

So he’s been trying to save up all the money that he possibly can just so that we will have a backup for later on when we might be out of money. I guess that’s a good thing, but I hate the fact that he is trying to save money on our heating and cooling system too. I personally feel like the heating and cooling system in your home is just way too important to cut corners on pricewise. My husband doesn’t seem to think that, though. I know that he is just trying to do the right thing, but I don’t think that the right thing is to mess up the great thing that we have going with the indoor air quality in our house. We have a really good heating and cooling system installed in our house and we use some really great HEPA air filters in order to keep it that way. I love the way that our HEPA filters keep the indoor air quality at nice levels all year long. He says that we need to cancel our heating and cooling maintenance program that we pay for each month. He also says that we are going to have to start buying cheap air filters instead of the HEPA ones. I personally just don’t think that it’s a good idea, though. I hope it’s not a big mistake!

The other night whenever I was at the hardware store, I ended up meeting a fireplace specialist when I was looking at the products on the HVAC aisle.

I felt like this was actually fate for me, since I was planning on calling a fireplace specialist the very next day.

Someone told me that the local HVAC company has a fireplace specialist on staff now, and it was on my list of things to do to call them the very next day. As luck would have it, the fireplace specialist that I was planning on calling the very next day actually ended up standing right there in the aisle with me at the hardware store. Since we were talking off the clock, so to speak, he gave me a lot of good advice and he told me exactly what I needed to purchase in order to make my fireplace installation go quickly and smoothly. It was really nice to be able to just chat with him all friendly like. You probably didn’t hurt matters that I was all dressed up on my way to a party and I looked really great. I guess he probably doesn’t see many women like that coming into the HVAC office whenever they are coming in to talk about fireplaces. By the time we finished talking, he had asked me out to dinner! I went out with him and I really ended up liking him. Hopefully he will be able to give me some more pointers on my new fireplace on our next date, too.

I’m going to be getting a new HVAC system for the office since my team did such a great job making their goals this year.

Usually someone is coming to complain to me every other day to tell me how terrible the indoor air quality is in the building, and so I think that everyone will be happy if I have the HVAC system upgraded.

They all made their numbers and then some this year. sales were really great for us, even though the economy was down everywhere else in the country it seemed like. We had a great year. I got a huge bonus, since I gave it to myself. I mean, after all, I am the head of the company and so I deserve stuff like that. I think that since all of the little people in my company work so well for me this year, they deserve a new HVAC system. I think that that will make all of them happy. They will probably like that even more than they would if I gave them a big cash bonus. One thing I like about being the boss is knowing that I am so in touch with all of the people who work beneath me. It’s gonna cost quite a bit of money to hire the heating, cooling, and ventilation system upgraded in the building, but I think it will be worth it to make my minions happy in the upcoming new year. Never let it be said that I don’t think about the needs of the people.

It is so much nicer to have a small town HVAC company to work with than a larger heating and cooling company.

I have noticed over the years that the larger HVAC companies that I have worked with are just not very personal nor personable. I mean, I guess they hire people with proper HVAC training and everything, but for some reason I just haven’t ever been able to make a personal connection with any of the HVAC technicians that I’ve met from any of the larger corporately owned HVAC companies that I have dealt with at all. I think that now that I’ve been living in a smaller town for a while now, I’m just a little bit spoiled when it comes to things like having really personal service and friendly service workers. The guys who have been coming to my house to work on the heating and cooling system here the past several years are super friendly. As a matter of fact, I play pool with them every weekend and we even go to football games together downtown at the stadium once in a while. It’s funny because the way that we met was when they came to my house to install a new oil furnace for me when I first moved into my house. It was funny because they were the first people I met when I moved into town. I was expecting the HVAC technicians to be very businesslike and efficient and just not very friendly, since that was what I was used to in the city. It turned out that these small town guys from a smaller HVAC company weren’t that way at all! Now they are my best friends!

My sister and I were trying to plan a 50th anniversary party for our parents.

We knew we could not have a party right on their anniversary, but we wanted it close.

We knew we didn’t want to have the party when either heating or air conditioning was going to be a necessity. We talked about an outdoor party, but then we could run into it being a rainy day. We knew we would need to pick a date and then worry about the weather on the day of the party. My brother came home from college and helped us make the plans. He thought we should throw a dart at the calendar and take that date, but we couldn’t throw darts at a closed calendar, and what if the dart landed on a weekday? We wrote four different weekends, closed our eyes and threw a dart. The weekend the dart landed on was so close to winter that we were concerned with needing a heating system, but we made the decision. On the weekend of the party, it was cold, but we had an excellent furnace in the venue we booked. We were lucky it didn’t snow, because a lot of the guests ventured out onto the patio to talk and enjoy the quiet. Mom and dad had an amazing time, and dad laughed and said that unlike their first reception, they that was inundated with HVAC technicians. They had a glitch in the furnace, and there was no heat in the venue when they arrived.

I thought a Christmas wedding sounded beautiful, and I had dreamed of having mine on Christmas Day.

• We wanted to have an outdoor wedding under the stars.

I hoped there would be snow, and I was going to wear a faux white fur to keep me warm, and my groom would wear a 1900s overcoat. I had everything planned out except who the groom was going to be. Over the next couple of years, my wish for a Christmas day wedding went away. I was beginning to not like the cold so much, so I was thinking it would be nice to have a wedding in the summer. We could have the wedding outside, but we could also go inside where there was air conditioning and no bugs to eat our dinner. It would be more comfortable dancing if there was air conditioning. More people would come to the wedding if they didn’t need to worry about the cold and snow. Of course, many of my family wouldn’t show up if it was hot and clammy. No matter what I did, I would lose family members even if we had an excellent furnace or air conditioning. When I got a boyfriend, we both talked about what kind of wedding we wanted. I had already decided it should be in the spring or fall and I didn’t care if it was perfect. As long as the venue was local and it had excellent HVAC so we could would have whatever was needed; heating or air conditioning. I couldn’t believe he felt the same way.

I had no great expectations of my wedding being the wedding of the century.

• It was to be simple and elegant, and I was having it in our family church.

We planned to have the church free almost a year before it was to occur. My sister helped me make the arrangements for the reception, and we had all the plans decided on within six months of becoming engaged. The day of the wedding was stunningly beautiful. It was in the seventies and comfortable. I assumed the minister forget the date when he set up for the HVAC technicians to arrive and work on the HVAC system. It was funny when we heard about the HVAC technicians. I laughed and my sister just shook her head. She said it was a good thing we didn’t have great expectations. The HVAC company would be installing the HVAC system the entire time we were having our ceremony. We went to the church and hoped it would not be as noisy as we were expecting. The noise didn’t drown out our vows, but it was enough to keep the audience tittering. Instead of an elegant and reserved wedding service, they interrupted us with shouts and sounds of metal scraping. They were installing the new ductwork, and installing the furnace in the basement. A couple of the HVAC technicians sat in the church and watched the wedding when they weren’t working. When we were getting ready to go to the reception hall, one of the HVAC technicians came up to me and handed me an envelope. They took donations to give us a gift, as a thank you for not get angry with the noise they were making.

When I was a little girl, I remember playing dress up with my Barbie dolls. I would dress them up in the wedding clothes and have a large wedding with all my other dolls and stuffed animals in attendance. Those dreams of a perfect wedding followed me into my adulthood. I thought my wedding was supposed to be perfect, but I was about to be disillusioned. My fiance and I had everything planned out, right down to the second. We knew the exact time they would introduce us as husband and wife. We even had an exact time for the wedding dance to happen. I thought we planned out everything until the day of the wedding. The venue called early in the morning and told us the HVAC system wasn’t working. I couldn’t imagine having 250 people in one hall, and no air conditioning. What I thought was going to be my perfect wedding was ending up being a disaster. The venue offered to let us use another room, but it was only big enough for 200 people. I was in tears thinking about how our gorgeous wedding was ruined because of the lack of air conditioning. My soon-to-be-husband told me everything would be okay and even offered to get his brother to look at the air conditioning. How was I going to let his best man go to work, even if he was an HVAC technician? Luckily, an hour before we were to arrive at the venue, the manager called and said the HVAC system was repaired and the wedding could go on as planned.
