For me, living life with ethics, compassion and good intentions is simply essential.

And it takes plenty of effort on my part to be consistent when it comes to the way I choose to live my life.

Yet as with many things in this life, even the right intentions can end up going badly. What I did to the HVAC unit is a great example of good intentions going really wrong. So I came home a few weeks ago all prepared to dive into the recliner and enjoy the HVAC cooling. But what I walked into was more like a sauna. The HVAC unit was running but there was no cooling. I tried to save some money trying to repair it myself which was a huge mistake. Even with the best intentions of saving some money, my HVAC repair strategy failed utterly. It went about as you would expect and I finally had to call the HVAC company. I turned a simple repair into a big HVAC problem. Good intentions aside, I should have known better and called for an HVAC technician right away. I won’t ever make that mistake again.

Having cleaned out the garage finally, I decided it was time to do more than just clean up inside! So I organized our gear, threw out the stuff that needed to be tossed out and tried to start fresh. The more I tested the garage, the more I realized that this could be our own space. So I called the heating and A/C company to have them come out and install a ductless heat pump. This was a brilliant move; now I have an appealing garage with excellent heating and A/C cooling in the Summer and appealing heating in the Winter.
