I’m going to keep watch and see if it keeps diving before I’m back in because it seems to just keep getting worse. Hopefully, soon it’s going to hit the bottom and I can once again put my money in it and watch things turn around for the better. My focus now is on my central heating unit instead of looking at the market so that I have some heat in my lake house when it gets colder. My heating unit failed the previous year and I haven’t had the money to fix it since. But now that I’ve taken my money out I can buy the heat pump I’ve always wanted. I plan to get something that is more efficient so I’m thinking of a hydronic heating plan or possibly even a geothermal heat pump. It’s better for me to go down to the store that sells them and get better advice on which model to buy to suit my needs. Once I discuss the issues with the owner and get the green light to move forward, I schedule all the maintenance for the properties. The process usually takes a couple of weeks to complete, but once done, most of the tenants are usually satisfied with all the upgrades. I am just happy that the landlords for the properties don’t hesitate to fix all the issues that we identify.
