I woke up feeling down today, probably because I didn’t get good quality sleep last night due to the noise that the street fair in my neighborhood was making.

I can’t decide what to do with myself today; the weather forecast warns of the possibility of rain in some regions, so I don’t know if the hiking trip planned yesterday would be a viable option. Another option is to go to my favorite seaside town, where the weather is always nice, even if it’s raining in the rest of the state, and play music at the local business. Last night my girlfriend and I went to see a circus show, which we really enjoyed, and this inspired me to also perform art, even though the experience was slightly spoiled by the lack of air conditioning and ventilation in the theater. Another option for me today is to stay at home and look at RVs to buy. Summer is approaching, and it would be a good idea for us to get our act together by finding a nice RV with climate control. But if we don’t, that’s also okay, because we can wait until after the summer when the prices have come down. In the meantime, we can stay at a friend’s farm with a nice fireplace until we decide what to do. On the farm, we could also park and do maintenance work on our RV. The farm is in the middle of nowhere, but because I work remotely for the HVAC business, it’s not a problem for me to retreat from the rest of the world for a while.

It’s going to be a crazy weekend here in the neighborhood where I live. There is a street fair happening now that’s going to go on until Sunday. We’ve been informed that there are going to be concerts and loud music until 2 am each day throughout the entire weekend! My flatmate is going away to spend the weekend with his family in some village to escape the chaos. Meanwhile, my girlfriend is going to a friend’s birthday party. However, I personally don’t mind the noise; in fact I never have. When I was a child, a bunch of hooligans used to get drunk during the night in the public square beneath our flat before the heating and cooling business opened there. While my parents despised them, I found the noises made by the intoxicated individuals to be relaxing and soothing, actually helping me with my sleep. Since it’s still raining outside, I’m going to make some progress with my HVAC tech stories, and after that, I’m going to see a circus show with my girlfriend and her friend. Later, if the weather permits, we might go and check out the street fair and local businesses to grab a drink and something to eat. My partner and I woke up early to volunteer at the local animal shelter with our dogs today.

We caught the train and met the worker at the train station to pick us up and take us to the shelter.

When we arrived, the first thing we did was have a delicious cake one of the volunteers had made, accompanied by a cup of tea. This was a nice start to the day and gave us plenty of energy to take the dogs out for a walk. The poor dogs are stuck in cages, and many of them have a lot of energy. We took around eleven dogs between my girlfriend and me, but then it started to rain, so we went to the cabin and made ourselves warm in the fireplace. We had another slice of cake and a cup of tea, and then it was time to go. The worker dropped us off at the train station with central heating and sat down in the warm station while we decided what we were going to do next. My bandmate wanted to play music by the local business at the beach, but it was still pouring down, so in the end I decided to head back to the city. We had our lunch on the train and enjoyed the comfort of the train’s climate control. When we got home, we went to bed and slept for about an hour. We woke up feeling nice and rested. After sleeping so much, though, I needed a cold shower to wake me up, and after that, we sat on the couch and watched a movie next to our beloved portable space heater.

This village is starting to rev up some with the month of May in full swing.

It will be pretty wild and deranged here for the next four months as a lot of tourists fly in to take in the sun and the fun. I am happy for the coming summer time because we are going to be playing music in clubs around the village and it should be an absolutely good time while we also receive money in air conditioned beach bars along the coast. Some of the local dealers don’t have a lot of space for us to play inside so we will just set up our sound system and gear out on the beach on a crucial beach blanket and just play there. We don’t mind playing for free because we are working on new music and the audience gives us energy to come up with current sounds and lyrics on the spot. When the winter comes we will be inside heated bars in the mountains playing for the ski resorts and resting by the fireplaces afterwards with the skiers and just hanging out and having fun. I love music so much and am so glad that I chose a path in it because it fills me with joy and gives me a lot of cool experiences. I plan on quitting my heating and air conditioning tech job at the local contractor’s shop next year and just focusing on music full time.

I’m down to about $850 on my loan and am hoping to pay it off in the next six months to get that monkey off my back. Nobody enjoys being in debt as it feels like a black cloud floating over you all of the time. I also owe my brother about $5K after borrowing the money six months ago to buy a stock that has now sunk my money from him down to $2K. But with some good luck and hard work by the contractor I know that price could rebound to at least what it was before. Heating and cooling work is my main gig and I also make some money from playing music, so between the two of them I suppose I can save some heating and air conditioning money so that I have a buffer in the bank again. I absolutely want to buy this cologne this week though but I feel guilty for spending the money because I need to get my teeth fixed soon and need money for that. The local contractor had his teeth cleaned recently and they look so much better, spawning me to want to do the same with my grille soon. I haven’t had my teeth cleaned in like three years I think, but last time they did it they said they absolutely had no buildup of plaque or anything. My heating and air conditioning specialist friend advocated that I get my teeth bonded where they are cracked to make them look better, and so I am going to need a good chunk of change for that as well.
