I couldn’t believe that something as important as my a/c would stop during a heat wave

Life slowed down severely while in the height of the pandemic, and some of us were able to job from home, which created a better work/life balance; personally, I loved being at new home because I was able to job in a comfortable environment, but while finally working from home, I used our air conditioning more than normal, and it was on every day especially while in the Summer months.

Everything worked nice with it until one day, I was in our yard, and heard a noise coming from the heating and A/C that didn’t sound right.

I listened keenly, and as the noise progressed, I knew something was wrong with the unit. I immediately contacted our heating and A/C repairman to schedule an appointment, but due to the high volume of calls, he was unable to schedule me for 2 days. I didn’t guess I could go several days without an actual air conditioning in that kind of weather, so I pressed our heating and A/C worker on the reason for the delay, then he mentioned that he had an overwhelming number of repair calls. Apparently, there were many buyers who were having heating and A/C complications while in the Summer. It could be because both of us were in the middle of a heat wave, and the air conditionings were finally working overtime to keep up with the demand. I was worried about not having air conditioning for several days, despite the fact that I was able to make it through, and when Steve finally checked our unit, he replaced a broken capacitor that he said had malfunctioned. He mentioned that he was seeing this issue a lot and equated it to the intensity of the heat from the sunshine that Summer. I am just glad it wasn’t a major issue, and I was finally able to keep working in a comfortable environment.

I suffered from an a/c breakdown in a heat wave

Life slowed down severely while the people I was with and I were in the height of the pandemic, but some of us were able to work from home, which created a better work/life balance… But personally, I enjoyed being at the condo because I was able to work in a comfortable environment! While working from home, I used our cooling system more than normal, however it was on every day especially while the people I was with and I were in the Summer weeks… Then everything worked great with it until a single day, I was in our yard, and heard a noise coming from the heating and A/C that didn’t sound right. I listened keenly, and as the noise progressed, I knew something was wrong with the unit. I instantly contacted our heating and A/C repairman to schedule an appointment, but due to the high volume of calls, she was unable to schedule myself and others for 2 days. I didn’t suppose I could go many days without an actual cooling system in that kind of weather, so I pressed our heating and A/C worker on the reason for the delay. She mentioned that she had an overwhelming number of service calls, however apparently, there were several clients who were having heating and A/C problems while the people I was with and I were in the Summer. It could be because the people I was with and I were in the middle of a heat wave, and the cooling systems were laboring overtime to keep up with the demand. I was upset about not having an air cooler for many days, although I was able to make it through, and when Steve finally checked our unit, she replaced a broken capacitor that she said had malfunctioned. The heating and a/c techs had a lot of COVID rules to follow

Yesterday, I was at the deli area of the grocery store buying some smoked gouda cheese! It is a single of my favorite cheeses that I like to purchase each week.

I constantly request the same quantity ⅓ pound and sliced thinly – call myself and others a creature of habit, I am ok with it, well, while I sited my order this week, I smiled as the employee sliced the cheese, and showed myself and others the slice to confirm the level of thickness.

I was good with it, but pre-pandemic, that first slice of cheese would constantly be gave as a sample, I believe that it was during the pandemic that this practice was unattached because of safety reasons; however, there have been so many things that have turned upside down since the beginning of the pandemic. Personally, I gave less hugs and less handshakes. I resorted to the fist or elbow bump or just a head nod, however so, it was no shock when I came across a notice on the website of my heating, ventilation, and A/C provider that said that due to pandemic and for safety reasons, the heating, ventilation, and A/C workers are proposed to avoid handshakes, fist bumps, or hugs, however now, I like my heating, ventilation, and A/C worker Larry, although I have never thought to hug him. I think I shook his hand the first time all of us met, but that was the most that all of us have ever done. I like that the heating, ventilation, and A/C provider is anxious about their employees and their customers’ safety! Larry makes a good effort keeping my equipment running efficiently, and over the years he has given myself and others with the best tips to keep my energy bill low. For that, I am grateful, although I will express that with words, or perhaps an extra tip versus physical contact.

Doing what I love

I had been living as an employed man, & I was getting exhausted of it because the business I worked for was far from home; I now wanted to spend more time with our family, but the distance was unfavorable.

  • I finally decided to start our own business with the help of our partner.

Working full time in an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C business for 9years has given myself and others enough experience as an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C worker. I decided to set up a lake home comfort business, then my partner & I manage the business, then each of us sell quality Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component such as the thermostat, state of the art Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems, heat & A/C products, gas furnace, ductless Heating, Ventilation, & A/C, dial thermostat, & I can also offer Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tune-up services to our clients. I ensure that our business has almost all the products that are able to aid most indoor comfort. I also take orders from our clients on component I don’t have, & I make sure to purchase them, and recently a hotel supervisor came to get my hands on a commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C, but since I don’t have them at our shop, I gave to be the one to purchase it for them. I visited a commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C provider, & after some time of talking business, every one of us both agreed that I would be getting the commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component from him, & in return, he would be giving myself and others a discount. I decided to put up a post in my shop that is described as ” commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C on sale” to be aware. My own business has allowed myself and others to run it the way I want. My relationship with our family has improved dramatically, & I am cheerful. I get to work with our partner, & I see our daughter every day when she is going to college & at night when she comes back to us.

I visited a commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider, and after some time of talking business, we agreed that I would be getting the commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system from him, and in return, he would be giving myself and others a discount. I made the decision to put up a post in our shop written ” commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C on sale” to be cautious. My own company has allowed myself and others to run it the way I want. My relationship with our family has improved dramatically, and I am thrilled I get to task with our wife, and I see our child every morning when she is going to school and in the evening when she comes home.
