We have a market campaign the rest of this year to get 5000 followers for our music page to see what kind of response we get from people and which music are our best ones.

I figure if we have 5000 people hearing our music we will have a great idea as to which ones are keepers and which ones should be put to rest.

So far our one song is leading the pack and it looks like it will be our number one song so far. Penned “We Got The Beat” it is an upbeat song heating up our music page with all the plays it is getting, thanks to the local business for doing their advertising thing. We paid them a few hundred bucks to get us 5000 real followers over the next few months and they are doing just that. My heating and A/C tech bandmate and I only had 48 followers just a couple afternoons ago, now it is heating up already with about 130 followers just two afternoons later; This heating and A/C specialist told us about the local supplier who does this advertising and said that the business is legit and that they legitimately get real people to follow you. I don’t enjoy getting more and more followers like some bands, I just want enough to know which song is great when we put it online! Anyway, my a/c is about to get some work as I need weather conditions control soon in this flat because it is legitimately heating up abruptly this morning. Have a great one this week!

 

 

Heating device

This week is the 14th of June and in four afternoons yet another Father’s Day will slip by with no PC call to my dad, no card sent, nothing anymore because my dad was plucked out of my life two years ago and I have no one to tell how much I loved being their child. Just a grave to visit and weep above, as my dad is gone and my heart still feels an emptiness there where he once was. It is going to be difficult getting over him because I was overseas when he died doing heating and A/C repairs for the new business and I never got to say goodbye to him and hug him one last time. He was a heating rep for a local business and put all of his time and energy into fixing heating and A/C systems and trying to make the world a better place the way he knew how. There will be no more parties at his house, no more soccer matches to watch, no more fishing trips together. Her heating and A/C business has been dissolved and his rental houses all sold, and now there is just a memory left of what was once a thriving heating and cooling corp in place in the city. There will be no more Happy Birthday cards arriving from him for me in the mail, no cheesy Christmas gifts like panty hose or denture toothpaste for me, and no more laughter echoing in the rooms of her once lively home. My heart is cooling down a bit with the loss of my heating and A/C rep dad, and I hope yours is around and I hope you tell him how much he means to you because you will regret not doing it.

 

heater maintenance

I’m getting a bit ahead on my articles for the week because I am not playing music or athletic sports this week and have a free day basically.

It is 6pm and I am sure there will be people on the beach playing ball, but the sunshine doesn’t go down till close to 10pm nowadays, so I still have quite a bit of time to get out in the sun, but it is pretty overheated out now and I like to stay out of the intense sunshine most of the day and save my skin from more wrinkles.

Cold air conditioning feels so nice when it is so overheated out like it is this week, but summer time will be gone in a blink so I need to enjoy it even when it is heating up to near 100F. I will bring my little orange chair to the beach and watch a few games while I chill in the sand with an ice frosty beer possibly. I may see my cooling rep out there and maybe we can have a chat while cooling down with a frosty brew. It will be an early night for me as I plan on getting home by about 9pm latest, maybe even earlier, so that I can get to bed at a great hour. I will turn on my mini split a/c component in my home office about an hour before I go to bed so it is cooling down the room for me before I hit the hay. I sleep legitimately well in a colder home office and love my little a/c system.

I bleached my teeth this morning for an hour with those whitening strips and now my teeth feel naked.

It feels like I had jackets on my teeth and now they have been removed on a frosty winter time day.

It isn’t the nicest feeling in the world I can tell you, even though I want to get some of the stains off so my smile doesn’t terrify away cats. I obtained some Sensodyne toothpaste at the store and am going to use it each day while doing this bleaching thing to see if it stops the sensitivity. My heating and A/C rep told me that it will so I am heeding her advice from yesterday when we were working on a furnace for a client. I have to wear these strips for two weeks and I know my teeth would drive me crazy if I didn’t use the toothpaste for this kind of pain. I couldn’t work on a/cs all day if my teeth were like this, let alone cleaning ductwork in an uncomfortably overheated attic. So I guess I will be better in a couple of afternoons once this toothpaste does its task and stops the sensitive feeling I have right now. And speaking of duct cleaning, my ductwork is going to need a large overhaul soon because the ducts are leaking in some spots and wasting the air that should be coming out of my vents. I need to get some of that tape from the store even though I guess I will do it later this week when my teeth are better.

I just got blocked on Soundcloud for five days for following too many people, oops.

I’m just trying to get our sound out there and was following a lot of people but I guess I kind of overdid it.

My goal is not to get a million followers or anything like that, but more to get our songs listened to to see if any of them are good or not. So now I have to wait five days before I can follow anyone else, which is fine with me because we got a good chunk of followers coming in daily. Heating up our site was my plan and at least we got some local business owners listening to the songs so I know which ones are good. I will chill with the following once my block is removed and follow less people each day, I just didn’t know the rules and sometimes you have to break them to learn about them. I’ve broken rules as an HVAC worker many times and have also broken rules when I was working for the local contractor. My gramps used to call me a rebel and a maverick, which back then I didn’t know what they meant, but I for sure know now. Gramps was a heating system salesman and worked a lot for this local contractor and then would come home to a trouble maker like me. I guess I’ve kind of been a rebel all my life for some reason, but it has given me some cool memories at least. Now this rebel is going to go clean his washable filter, see ya.

a/c repair

How many hours a day do you have to yourself? Online it says that two to five hours of free time a day is ideal for happiness.

Well, I have a lot more than five hours of free time each day, probably closer to seven or eight hours a day.

I fill that free time though with music and it doesn’t seem to bother me that I have so much of it. Maybe if I wasn’t playing beach ball or playing music in a band I would be bored with all the free time I have, but this HVAC tech is just fine with all of that free time. I need to get back on my workout routine though because I have been resting a lot in my free time. My heating corp keeps me active with the HVAC system repairs I do, but I need to get in some weight training each week or my muscles start to deteriorate quickly. Lifting up heavy heating devices is good for your muscles, but I haven’t had many to lift as I have been working a lot on smart thermostats and small things like space heater repairs and things like that. So today I am going to start up my weight training program after I teach my yoga student later this afternoon in his climate controlled flat. It is a sunny day and it will be a good one for doing my workout routine on the beach later when it cools down. My HVAC rep friend will join me in the workout later and it should be fun.

I’ve really put my process engineer skills to work with my lifestyle.

I work just 15 hours a week and spend very little time cleaning the flat thanks to my robot helpers.

I just cook dinner a few times a week and freeze the leftovers and rotate what I eat each week so it doesn’t get monotonous. I bet I spend about five hours a week cooking, shopping, and cleaning the flat, which is great because that means only 20 hours a week are spent doing things that are considered “work” to me. My HVAC tech job is really light work because I no longer lift heavy heat pumps or air con systems and just do paperwork and inventory for the local business. The rest of my time is spent doing what I love, which is music and volleyball, and it is the type of lifestyle I’ve been longing for for a long time. My climate control system is running this afternoon for four hours while I do my work and chill with the cats. So I basically work three hours a day on average, which means I have about 12 hours free to do as I please, which seems to be a good balance for me. My HVAC contractor friend back in the States told me that his HVAC company keeps him really busy and he only has an hour and a half of free time each day. He spends a lot of time selling furnaces at his local contracting business and when he gets home he is pretty much spent.

It is nice having a robot do all of my vacuuming in my flat as I really don’t enjoy the chore too much.

I have hardwood floors and very little clutter in my flat, so the robot does a great job of cleaning the floors each day for me.

It saves me a lot of time and my robot cat litter machine saves me a lot of time too. I also have a robot feeding and watering station for my cats, so I could leave for a week and they wouldn’t even care. I got these cats from the local business and the cats keep each other company when I am out of town doing some HVAC system repairs. I have left for up to a week and when I come back my cats are totally fine. They have air conditioning and music playing while I am gone and they keep each other company in my climate controlled flat. I don’t have to do much in this flat except for cooking and washing the dishes, which doesn’t take that long to do. I have a good air purifying system in here to keep the dust and pollen down to a minimum, and the HEPA filter does a great job of removing all the other stuff that keeps the indoor air quality down. I pretty much just have to put the food away that gets delivered to my flat and cook meals for dinner. The local contractor helped me streamline my life like this when we were going to HVAC tech school years ago.

I will meet someone down the road I am sure, maybe it will be another year or two until my heart is ready though.

I’ve finally learned to be happy on my own after being alone for a year and a half now. It was bothering me that I have been alone so long now, but my spirit needs some healing time and I am learning to enjoy it. I’ve been trapped in bad relationships before and it is better to be on your own than to be stuck in a deadend marriage or whatever. I have a flatmate so I am not totally alone here, and we also have three cats to keep us company. Now I am having fun again with HVAC system repairs on my own and enjoying my climate controlled flat with the three cats. I have a good flatmate that covers half the rent, along with all of the heating and cooling bills each month and it just makes it easier on my finances and gives me company at the same time. I will meet someone down the road I am sure, maybe it will be another year or two until my heart is ready though. The HEPA filter worker told me that when the heart is ready to open up you won’t be able to stop love from coming in. So I will just do my HVAC tech work each week and chug along like before when I was in a relationship, but now I can work on an air conditioner till late in the evening without feeling like I will get the 3rd degree when I get home late. It all works out in the end so just enjoy the ride.

Why is there a dog on my submarine? That is one of the songs we made up the other day that has a really good vibe to it.

It makes no sense at all basically but we were singing about a yellow submarine when some dogs started barking at us.

So then the song morphed into a dog on our submarine and we took it from there. My voice is finally back after five days off and I am going to be ready to sing some later if my bandmate is around. I need a few days rest with good indoor air quality and some moist air from this vaporizer I bought at the local business. I was stressing my vocal cords too much with my rough singing voice in some of the songs and it got really tore up from that. This new contractor in town told me to sing more smoothly when we were doing an HVAC system install a few months ago, but I didn’t listen to him and this is what I got. So now I am going to heed his advice and not sing so gravelly in our songs to save my voice. Anyway, today is an air conditioning type of day as it is heating up really quickly and is still only 10 in the morning. I will work in my flat for a few hours getting my work done online and then I will train a yoga student for half an hour before turning my attention to the band. We should have fun heating up in the sun later.
