Hoping to save more cash with new thermostat

I ended up watching a commercial for a single of those extravagant Wi-Fi programmable temperature controls, plus the commercial made claims that the temperature controls could save the homeowner up to 10% on their utility expenses.

Additionally, the ad said that outdated temperature controls could be costing the homeowner extra currency each year.

That surprised me because I have a regular digital temperature control plus I had never heard any mention of it possibly costing more currency. So, of course, I made the move to Google this claim because I wanted to find out for myself. And sure enough, multiple of the Heating and A/C equipment providers request upgrading to a newer temperature control especially if it is a manual or battery-operated unit. And if the temperature control is over a decade old, it is recommended that you invest in a new model. My temperature control is over 10 years old, in fact, it is closer to 15 years old, which is the same for my Heating and A/C equipment. I suppose that I will need to upgrade the Heating and A/C equipment soon, plus at that time, I planned on investing in a new temperature control, however, now that I suppose that my older temperature control could be costing me more on my energy bill, I might invest in a newer model. The Wi-Fi capable temperature control would supply me better control of my Heating and A/C equipment which will then create extra comfort inside my place. I am not the type of person to purchase the next best gadget that is being given, but when I see value in the product, I don’t mind making the investment. And if it will save the 10% as advertised, then in no time, the temperature control will surely pay for itself. I can’t ask for much more than that.

Nobody can smoke cigarettes inside my residence

I once dated a guy that smoked a lot, & it didn’t last for unquestionably long. While I liked him a lot, I couldn’t get over his excruciating habit. When we dated, he used to spend the night at my residence. He was polite enough to ask me if he could smoke inside my residence which I politely told him no. I did have a screened in patio section & he was free to smoke there whenever he had the inkling. I am well aware that cigarette smoke gets into clothing & fabric & that odor is difficult to remove. The last thing that I wanted was for my residence to stink something like cigarettes all the time. He knew I didn’t love the stink, so he never invited me to his place… And to be entirely honest, I didn’t mind because I assumed that I would have been coughing from the stink of cigarette smoke. Honestly, studies have shown that cigarette smoke increases air pollutants inside the residence. The stink is absorbed into carpets, curtains, furniture, & it also gets into the HVAC vents & circulates throughout the residence. The air filter inside the HVAC component is not equipped to filter out the pollutants produced by cigarette smoke. So, the entire residence will have this pollutant lingering throughout the space. I didn’t really want to take the risk of dealing with excruciating air quality in my residence that could potentially seep into my HVAC machine, so I could not allow that guy to smoke anywhere near the inside. Well, we dated for less than a year, but the relationship finally ended because I refused to spend the night at his residence. I didn’t want to have to be miserable because the air stinked of cigarette smoke.
